Accessing Enet Resources via VPN

Enet has implimeneted a VPN server to facilitate secure Internet communications between remote users and our network. This VPN is very similar to that used by the University of Minnesota ADCS. Please see the ADCS web site to download and install the required VPN software.

Once the VPN client software is installed, make these changes to configure that software to work with the Enet VPN:

• Start the VPN client software.
• Click on the "New" icon.
• Fill in the blanks:
  • Connection Entry: EnetVpn
  • Description: Enet
  • Host: vpn.enet.umn.edu
  • Group Authentication (selected)
  • Name: Enet
  • Password: Enet (does not display)
  • Confirm Password: Enet (does not display)
• Click Save

You should now be able to select the EnetVpn entry and click "Connect" to sign-on to the Enet network. Note that to use the Enet VPN you will need to use your ME or AEM userid and password
